2024 - Our Inaugural Year
The competition was intense and brilliant (we had a tie for 2nd Place in the Team Competition!) but in the end these brilliant poets took home the first ever Chicharra Poetry Slam Festival regional championship titles! Massive congratulations to our 2024 Individual Champion, Black Chakra and our 2024 Team Champions, Ghost Phantom from Phoenix, AZ

2025 - Year Two
Believe us when we say, year two was even bigger, better and more competitive, with almost 80 poets from over 30 cities! The poetry was incredible and the talent on display was so impressive, it was impossible to make any predictions about who would go on to take the title, but in the end we offer huge congratulations to our 2-time Individual Champion, Black Chakra and our 2025 Team Champions, Spotlight Poetry!

After two days of fierce and lovely competition, here are the final standings for each poet and team. The top 4 poets and top 4 teams are our Finalists, who competed on the Champions Stage on Staurday, March 22.
